ALDI, one of America’s fastest-growing grocers, offers exceptional quality and astoundingly low prices. And while fans have a lot of heart for the brand, ALDI has low national awareness. Beyond not knowing who or what ALDI is, for those who do, there is that misconception that ALDI products are cheap, generic and low-quality.
In the fall of 2017, we set out to help ALDI set the record straight. In the midst of a private-label war, we wanted people to know that ALDI sells the same great quality products that you love at mind-blowingly low prices. The result was ‘Common Cents’, the ALDI game show where the customer always wins (just like in real life). Pitting ALDI’s amazing quality and mind-blowingly low prices against other like brands, ‘Common Cents’ places ALDI on a pedestal by making it more than obvious that shopping anywhere else would be, well, foolish.
